StuCo Organizes Spirit Day
Posted 10/07/2016 07:37AM

Our middle school StuCo team are now in full flight and are busy organizing Spirit Day, break time snacks and Halloween adventures. These students are learning firsthand what it is to be a leader; to be responsible for their behaviours, listen to the views of others, make decisions, plan events, and consider new opportunities. However, having a title is not the only way to be a leader and at Nishimachi, we encourage all students to step up when there is a need. This may be volunteering at events, helping others or speaking out when they see inappropriate behaviours. Looking out for each other and 'Being Kind' are topics we have reiterated this week and are all part of being a good citizen and a leader.
